A Class for Every Body
Join us for an hour at the Barre and exercise your way to a healthy body and mind. Barre class integrates the use of a ballet barre to lift and tone the muscles in the body, and increase strength and flexibility. Barre is a functional fitness that uses isometric exercises that are great for everyone! It is safe for pregnant bodies (with modifications if needed), post natal bodies (with modifications if needed), and fantastic for all levels - from beginner level to professional dance level. Our instructors teach to multiple levels at once, so you are able to choose your level during class. Be ready to have fun with this energetic workout!
BarreLESS is barre without the ballet barre. It is performed in the center of the room for balance and strength training. With a mixture of small succinct movements and larger cardio movements, you will enhance your cardiovascular system and work your entire body for maximum benefit. With added cardiovascular and balance challenges, this is our toughest class on the schedule! Join us today and get an extra cardio burst with barreLESS!
This is a 45 minute variation of the traditional 1 hour barreCLASSIC class for those who want to fit in a killer workout during their lunch hour! It is jam packed with all the muscle burning movements that you love, so be prepared to work hard and have fun!
*Great for prenatal and postnatal
This Mom and Baby Barre class is a low impact workout for new moms who have been cleared by their physician to exercise. This class is less intense than the regular barre classes on the schedule. We focus on building strength, and repairing diastasis recti. Babies should be able to fit comfortably in a carrier/wrap resting on mom’s chest (at least 2 months old and up to a year in age). This is a drop-in based class, rather than a 4-8 week series. Please sign-up online to reserve your spot in class!
In addition to barre classes, we offer pilatesFLOW and barreYOGA! These two classes are less intense than any of the barre classes on the schedule (except for barreBABY).
This is a one-hour pilates and dance inspired full body workout that will focus on core and muscle engagement to keep the body strong, long, and protected. Light hand weights, mats, and a ball will be used in class. This mindful class is a great opportunity to tune in to your body and breath and is the perfect compliment to barre classes or anything else you do!
barreYOGA is a barre and yoga fusion class that focuses on increasing your range of motion, flexibility, balance, and strength. This class starts and finishes on the mat, with barre and centre work in between. The barre portion of this class is fluid and a bit slower than our regular barre classes. This class is great for beginners!
